StatSheet Projects Kentucky as NCAA Tournament Bubble Team 11 Seed: 03/16/2013

StatSheet is now projecting Kentucky on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament with potentially an 11 seed. The Wildcats are sitting at #64 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 21-11 overall record and a 12-6 record in the SEC.

Over the last four games, Kentucky registered a quality win against AP #13 Florida but also dropped one against RPI #87 Arkansas and bad losses to RPI #107 Vanderbilt and RPI #127 Georgia.

Kentucky is below average against top competition, with a 7-9 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 2-4 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-4 record against AP ranked teams. While the Wildcats have two quality wins including AP #13 Florida and RPI #29 Missouri, they're also hampered by two bad losses including RPI #107 Vanderbilt and RPI #127 Georgia.

The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Temple (23-9, 11-5 A-10, StatRank #42), Alabama (21-11, 12-6 SEC, StatRank #59), Boise State (21-10, 9-7 Mountain West, StatRank #40), and Tennessee (20-12, 11-7 SEC, StatRank #58).

The first four teams out are Colorado (21-11, 10-8 Pac-12, StatRank #45), La Salle (21-9, 11-5 A-10, StatRank #50), Maryland (22-11, 8-10 ACC, StatRank #67), and Wichita State (26-8, 12-6 Missouri Valley, StatRank #32).

The next four out are Florida State (18-15, 9-9 ACC, StatRank #81), Iowa (21-12, 9-9 Big Ten, StatRank #78), Oregon (25-8, 12-6 Pac-12, StatRank #48), and Virginia (21-11, 11-7 ACC, StatRank #76).
